My interview is tomorrow in Sydney and I'm sooo nervous!! :(

Anyone have any good tips? Advice not to stress myself out? What did people wear to their interviews? Anyone from Sydney have a easy step-by-step guide on how to get to the right floor of the MLC center? I've heard it's a confusing building, and I don't want to get lost lol!

I have my envelope, visa fee, passport, the letter of intent (They asked for a new one since my NOA2 expired before my interview), a giant scrapbook full of evidence... I'm so so so nervous :( !

Don't be nervous. It's easy. They won't ask anything you can't answer if you have a real relationship. I dressed business casual. It *is* still an interview and you want to make a good impression!

Katie you will be fine and I know it is nerve wracking.

You go to the MLC building ground floor walk around to the right side and you will see elevators to the 10th floor. They have different elevators for different floors I got confused first t time I went. Tehn wehen you get there you will line up to have your letter and passport checked and you go through the security screen like at the airport. You will put your bag and personals in a shelf that they do for you as you can only take your paperwork and passport up to the 29th floor. You will have a ticket and then you wait till they call you to go up in elevator. Once up there wait again lol just a few mins and the rest is waiting to be called.

You will be fine and I bet anything they wont ask to see all your folder just the things you were asked to bring in.

Good luck and enjoy Sydney for the morning , Say hello to the city for me.

I got approved! :)

They made a mistake though with my packet 4, they wanted to see my LONG British birth certificate, but they didn't mention it at ALL on my packet 4. So obviously I didn't bring it, as I'd sent the other one. They said it's rare that they overlook stuff like that, lol. So they couldn't give me the "You have been approved" note - so I had to rush home when I landed in Brisbane to send the long one out to them. The guy did say "Congratulations on your upcoming marriage".

I was stressing over nothing, haha. Thank you so much everyone for all the messages. (L)

Congratulations but just keep a track on that mail and hopefully you will get visa in a week or so. They have a tendency to not rush anything when they are waiting for mail.

Thank you! :) My birth certificate arrived there this morning according to the auspost tracking. :) Going to wait until tomorrow to check on the self-addressed express envelope. Wishful thinking I know, but hey. I heard they print visas on Thursdays there, not sure if that's true, but maybe I'll get lucky and they'll print and send mine tomorrow too.
