time between AOS and Interview

Hi VJ members!

1. I wanted to ask you how long is the process (time) between AOS doc - IV application?

2. How long is the time between IV application and the Interview date?

that really depends.

if you have any rfe's Like we did.

after fixed the rfe we got a interview date within a couple weeks i believe it was.

And our interview date is the 17th less then a month from getting the letter. as we got the letter on friday.

im just trying to understand the medical portion as the website says 1 thing and everyone else says different. & different parts of the uscis site says something different

They like to confuse us.

wifes medical is 9months old less then a yr so not sure if we need to goto dr's to get it transcribed again or what

I would estimate 3-4months at the most generally.

i received my packet 3.5 in 3 days by email after embassy received my case from NVC then you gotta start preparing for your police clearance certificate which takes about 7-10 days once you send back your packet 3.5 see if its delivered you can also get your interview date by calling DOS before receiving your packet 4 cos it can likely take 7-10 days for your to receive if you don't call the DOS then u have to wait for the packet 4 to know ur interview date
