May 17, 2011: The big day!!! We finally exchanged "I DO's"

Aug. 8, 2011: Sent complete Package of I-130

Aug. 26,2011: NOA1 (it was a very stressful long wait!)

March 1, 2012: NOA2 the moment we've been waiting finally here!!!

March 20, 2012: I called NVC got our MNL case# and IIN and sent my DS3032 via email

March 22, 2012: Received 2 Emails from NVC PAOSF I-130 and ACL

March 24, 2012: AOS paid online

March 27, 2012: AOS PAYMENT ACCEPTED

april 04, 2012: AOS PACKAGE ON ITS WAY TO NVC

April 04, 2012: IV bill paid

Hi All,

Thankyou for the all the remarks and information. We still haven't received either NoA1 or NoA2 in the mail, so we are trying to remain reserved until we have the hard copy of NoA2 in our hands! The NVC automated service can't find the USCIS receipt number yet; will keep trying.

Hopefully this indicates the process will be faster for others as well!

We created a cover letter listing all the items in the package. We included:

  • Passport Photocopies - including all pages with US/Australia entry stamps to show travel to and from countries (certified photo page)
  • Bank Statements - showing joint finances
  • Rental agreements - for last 3 years in house living together in Australia
  • Birth certs (certified)
  • Marriage cert. (certified)
  • Application forms
  • Passport Size Photos (as per instructions)
  • Signed written statement from beneficiary mother about length of relationship and dates of engagement and marriage

No tabs, fasteners (clips or staples).
