Delayed response from NVC

Hello, is there anyone out there that can give us some help. We filed a spousal visa to NVC over a month ago and until now havent recieved any email or letter. Has anyone else experienced this situation.

Are you talking about the I-130? Cause that's filed to USCIS, not NVC. You have to wait average 5 months for the I-130 to be approved, then it gets sent to NVC for more processing.

What would happen if the agency sent it or filed in the wrong address. Are they going to send back our petition or return?

They might return it, they might not. I don't know.

I'd suggest sending it yourself. Don't waste your money on an "agency".

Call your agency and ask for the receipt number. Then log onto uscis.gov and check it yourself

If they cannot give you a receipt number then find out exactly where they sent your file. They should have sent it to Chicago if the US citizen is in the united states.

Good luck
