Do vaccinations need to be done by a civil surgeon?

My fiancee is coming to the US from Mexico on a K-1 fiancee visa so she was not required to have vaccinations prior to getting the visa. We will need to get them done here. My question is, do we have to go to a civil surgeon to complete the vaccinations or can we go just to my regular doctor & get them. She will be able to get them at my doctor's office for free and they can provide her with proof of having received them. Would we then go to a civil surgeon with this proof just to have them complete the form?

The vaccinations can be done from a regular office BUT you still have to see a civil surgeon to fill out the 693 form with the vaccination transcription. Either way you have to see a Civil Surgeon.

Get them done for free, then take the vaccination record to a Civil Surgeon. Find one that will not rip you off and insist on giving her a full medical again when she doesn't need one. You only need Part 1, Part 2 -vaccinations section ONLY, and Part 5 filled out on the I-693. You might need to call around until you find a CS that will do the transcriptions only for a reasonable price.
