Probably a Noob question, but is there any choice where the consulate interview can be held in Viet Nam? My Fiance lives in Da Nang which is an easy flight to either city, and has family in Hanoi. We are preparing for the HCMC route, but wondered if there is an option for Hanoi? I hear that HCMC is a tough cookie for the pink, and wondering if Hanoi would improve matters since they seem to have very little K-1 traffic comparative to HCMC.

Any feedback from the experienced K-1 Vn crowd would be appreciated!

The embassy in Hanoi only handles non-immigrant visa interviews. For K1 you will have to go to Saigon...for now.
