Hi everyone,

We submitted I-485, I-130, I-765, I-131 concurrently and got NOA's for all four dated Sept. 26 2011. A few days ago we replied to an RFE on the I-485 but otherwise we have heard nothing further from USCIS. Wanting an update on the status of our forms, we used the "My Case Status" feature on the USCIS website. Entry of our receipt number for the I-485 brought up the expected "RFE in review" status, but the receipt numbers for the other 3 forms returned "Your case can not be found at this time in My Case Status. Please check your receipt number and try again."

Is it normal that USCIS doesn't have electronic Case Status for all of the forms submitted? Should we call customer service?

Also, in general, how frequently can we call to make sure that things are going smoothly? My wife is very concerned about USCIS incompetence, feet dragging, loss of our documents, etc. and wants as much status updates as she can get. I am less worried but I want her to be comfortable.
