How long we can stay outside of US using AP? Does AP has expiration date? What should we do to pursue/continue the process of pending AOS when we back from AP travel?

The AP has an expiry date of a year from issue. You can stay outside the US within those timeframes, but you will get extra scrutiny if you're away beyond six months. It may also impact the citizenship eligibility date.
