Fort Lauderdale POE???

Has anybody been through the FLL POE as a new resident? Just wondering what its like and how long the process takes?

i flew avanica from caracas/bogota/miami..

i am uscs.. but we all went thru same area.. but different CO's.. they had about 5 CO's for USC and NON USC.. the lines went pretty quick.. but it really depends on only on time of day.. BUT are there OTHER international fights coming in at the same time..

i don't think you can really predict for sure.. but once she/he gets to the POE.. what is another 15-30 min wait

at least a 2 or 3 hr window for sure.. just to be safe..

i had to switch airlines due to get two different tickets for international fight to USA then from Florida back to austin.. i had an hour delay due to weather in mia.. before we even took off.. i had 30 min. to make connection in atlanta.. so its a risk no matter what..

My Wife did FL flew spirit with a long line she say 1 hr all together .

She flew in august 25 good luck to all

I will definitely let you know how it went. I believe my wife is arriving during a busy part of the day, so hoping for the best. She arrives at 12:15 and has a flight with delta at 3:15, so hopefully that is plenty of time in between flights. Going through aires direct flight from bogota.

So her flight was on Spirit and she arrived at FLL on a Thursday at 5:11pm and her connecting flight was 7:10pm .. Her total time through customs for her initial POE into the country was roughly 1 hour and that was with long lines..

yes that is the story my friend . She say that the CO talk and she didnt even had to reply jejeje.
