ABOUT N-400 AND I-130 FILING

Hi everyone,

I'm really new for this forum. I'm planning to apply for the naturalization (n-400) and i-130 at a time. I have spent almost 5 years (4 years and 11 months) in united states as permanent resident (through DV1). In the mean time, I got married 3 months before and she is in our native country (Nepal).I need more information about: how long it takes to process file and get citizenship ? How long it takes to get visa for my wife to come USA after filing i-130? Let me know the cost involved while filing n-400 and i-130. Thanks.

if you file the i130 now, you will be filing as a LPR and then after you get your citizenship, you will have to update the case.

Naturalization can take mostly from 3 to 5 months, but it depends on where you live, and how long it takes to have the Oath Ceremony.

the N400 costs $680 and the i130 $420
