Hi to you all,

I would be grateful if I could get some help here.

My fiancé and I will be getting married in December Ghana and she want to fill for me to join her in the states.

She’s got her US passport and owns a four bedroom apt.

She just stopped working too. (This month)

After marriage, what will be the best way to join my spouse in the States.

What documentation and form will I need to present with my visa application

What kind of visa do I apply for?

Kindly give me the all the information I would need to make mine application a successful one.

Thanks

At the top of this page are guides to what you file for. You need to look into the CR1 visa and it will take about a year after you are married to get the visa.

Unfortunately, for Ghana, it will take quite a bit longer, due to the interview backlog in Accra. The process starts with the US Citizen filing a petition, so best for both of you to study and follow the CR1 Guide. Starting now is great.
