Flights - Middle Seats in the Middle Row

There are couple ways you can get a better seat.

1 - Check with airline 48hr before your flight there are seats that they release before flight, lot of the times these are held for ppl with status who would make last min reservation.

2 - You can always check at the time oc check-in and they might be able to give you a better seat, the only thing is since you are traveling togeather means they need 2 seats togeather.

3 - you can call your airline and check if you can upgrade your ticket, even economy ticket have various grades like (V,Q,G etc varies with airlines) and you can go one notch up which might give you better selection.

Just an update - We've been checking the seat selector periodically to see if any aisle seats become available. Happy to report that we managed to switch to some aisle seats in the middle section today.

Once again, thank you all for your most valuable input. I've learnt so much.. And who knows? This knowledge may come in handy someday in the future.
