Hello Vj friends,

I have access to my fiancee's VJ account so I figured to ask about W2. She is worried not having W2 to bring with on her interview but she has my bank statement and the 2008-2010 ITR, is it really needed(the W2)? Thank you in advance..

I am not sure what type of visa you applied but for K1 visa which was the visa category I was petitioned, I-134 was needed. as to the ITR and W2 - since I am not sure if you are from the same country as me :D - I should say, At USembassy Manila, I was only asked the 2010 ITR and W'2. However, not all case are the same, just be prepared to have the other documents like paystubs and bank statements and other proof of assets if a need may arise. Goodluck!

yes they ask both together with the I-134

its my understanding that u need 3 yrs worth of tax returns complete with w-2s, however u can request income tax transcripts from IRS ( easy to do and comes in like 5 days). If u have these u dont need the w-2s
