Do you guys think this means he has his visa and they are ready to send it.....Why else would they send his passport back? Could this also mean that he was denied???

Hmmm i personally have no idea, I am SURE it means they have reached a decision, i sure hope it means he has his visa, but unfortunately without contacting them cannot know until the passport arrives

It's a confusing email because they don't mention the visa. Let's pray that he is getting the visa. Too bad they sent it on the weekend when you can't call.

I know I'm freaking out.....I got it right before 5pm so I couldn't call DOS..... I guess I just keep waiting and hope that it's the visa....

They say at the end "If you do not register to submit your passport is not going to get a visa."

I think it's good news. They can and do send people emails telling them that their visa had been denied. They didn't do that with you.

Oh, that e-mail DID mean his visa!! It was issued on the 20th and he got it in the mail Yesterday.....AP OVER! *phew* I'm crossing my fingers and hoping that all of you have a quick journey through this process. My heart aches every day knowing there are TONS of people waiting to be with friends, family and spouses. The process needs to be re-vamped. Keep your head up everyone! Your day will come.
