AP......E-mail from Embassy Confused....

Please contact the Call Center in Bogota at 325-9851 to coordinate the delivery of your passport to one of twenty DHL offices in nine different cities in Colombia, at no additional cost. You can also access the page: http://colombia.usvisa-info.com

If you want your passport to be sent home may choose this option canceling additional value (please see the places available for DHL delivery, on the website through the Call Center or on the website)

At the time of calling the Call Center to coordinate the site to receive your passport, you will be asked

The number of the passport book (** *** ***), your full name and date of birth.

You will receive an email once your passport is ready to be picked up at DHL.

If you do not register to submit your passport is not going to get a visa. If you have questions contact the Call Center at 325-9851 or visit Bogota website http://colombia.usvisa-info.com

Do you guys think this means he has his visa and they are ready to send it.....Why else would they send his passport back? Could this also mean that he was denied???

Hmmm i personally have no idea, I am SURE it means they have reached a decision, i sure hope it means he has his visa, but unfortunately without contacting them cannot know until the passport arrives

I know :( I'm freaking out.....I got it right before 5pm so I couldn't call DOS.....:( I guess I just keep waiting and hope that it's the visa....

They say at the end "If you do not register to submit your passport is not going to get a visa."

Oh, that e-mail DID mean his visa!! :) It was issued on the 20th and he got it in the mail Yesterday.....AP OVER! *phew* I'm crossing my fingers and hoping that all of you have a quick journey through this process. My heart aches every day knowing there are TONS of people waiting to be with friends, family and spouses. The process needs to be re-vamped. Keep your head up everyone! Your day will come. :)
