ok vj'ers just reading about this announcement in philippines of a holiday for nov 7th, of course i would have our interview that day!!!!!! so what ya think interview will have to be rescheduled??? If so can i go on embassy sight now and get a new date now rather than wait to call embassy? Or do i have to wait for then to contact me about the cancellation. ofcourse screws up flights , good lord if this is tru this suckkkkssss. Talk about a let down....................

Definitely call, it is not yet in the embassy's website but better call ahead, you might need to re-schedule... here's the link of the embassy announcement and the number to call...

well just read the embassy website, and they do have a notice up for the 31st with a similar reason due to a holiday announcement. That annoucement says that all"non immigrant visa" aplicants need to reschedule, doesnt mention immigrant visas, so maybe just maybe those are still good. lol wishfull thinking huh lol. Oh well after waiting for 4 years if you cant laugh now....... I think my future asawa is ready to kill someone lol just glad its not me lol

K-1 visa is considered a non-immigrant visa... thus, you were the one who schedule it online (or called the call center) unlike the immigrant visa wherein embassy scheduled for applicants.

they will be open that day. already called them about it before i booked yesterday. its more of a regional holiday then whole.

try to access the website of US Embassy Manila.. They always post if you will reschedule your interview..

It's too early that's why it's not posted yet but it will surely needed to be reschedule. Then if you will, the next available date is way too far.

Is this confirmed already? pls tell me it is. I'm still waiting for monday to confirm with the embassy people. as soon as i talk to someone, i'll post here.

embassy is open nov 7th, thank GOD. Asawa was ready to jump off local bridge. now she is sceaming but for a good reason lol

The Embassy has the ability to re-validate a petition if an interview has not yet taken place. You do not need to worry about this.

June 17, 2010: Arrived for second in-person meeting and start of travel together to other areas of China!

February 3, 2014: New Green Card received; done with USCIS until fall of 2023*

December 18, 2023:  Filed I-90 to renew Green Card

December 21, 2023:  Production of new Green Card ordered - will be seeing USCIS again every 10 years for renewal

hello friends!

just called the US Embassy Manila and unfortunately there is NO ADVISORY yet regarding NOv. 7 (i hope it means they're open that day). Agent advised to call again later in the afternoon for update/s. As soon as i get the info will let you all know here.
