(* Please do not move this post, it is a cr-1 question) Last year my husband and I went through this whole process for the K-1 visa and at the time of his medical he had to take the psych test due to depression yrs before. It was rather expensive for the psych test along with the medical.

Long story short, he was passed and we were approved for the K-1. We married last Feb 2011, but due to unforeseen reasons (his grandmother was gravely ill and was needed back to the UK) he travelled back to the UK before we successfully filed the AOS with the advance parole. So now our predicament is we are now filing the cr-1 to reunite, and we recently discovered I have a life-threatening illness, and are pursuing an expedite for medical reasons.

I know he will have to have another medical before the interview but wonder if they will make him pay and have another psyche exam even though they approved him for the K-1 visa. Would records from his physician stating he has not had any issues with depression from the time of the last psych test to present be enough to avoid a new test. We just want to know what to expect and try to get through things without any more hold-ups.

I'd assume the original psych report would suffice. And a letter from his doctor saying no problems since then would be good too. No point worrying about worrying about it otherwise, there's nothing else you can do right now but assume that will be sufficient :-)
