how long after online update interview is schedules?

My status has been updated in USCIS webiste.It says I will recieve a letter with time and place of interview.I have not recieved the letter yet.what is the timeline between updated status in uscis website and actual interview date?My status got updated in sep23.It is almost a month now.Is it possible that my interview was scheduled in about a month since sep 23?

I already called 1-800... number and they said we are going to resend the letter.

11/12/02---------I-130,I-129F sent to VERMONT and Chicago

02/8/03----------Vermont asked for receipt notice of I-130

04/02/03---------I-129F got approved

05/12/03--------package#3 received

07/12/03-------- K3 visa interview, visa issued the same date

08/01/03--------Arriving usa

09/26/03--------I-130 approved

11/24/03--------I-485 submitted in DC office

05/02/04--------applying for work permit

04/28/04-------EAD recieved

04/28/04-------applying for SSN

05/16/04-------ss card recieved

05/24/05-------AOS interview

Waiting for FBI check

Oct/06 third EAD

June/2008 Permanent Greencard received in mail.

06/16/2011 NOA of N-400 application received.

07/29/2011 Fingerprint

Normally it shouldn't take you more than two weeks to get the letter. The interview date can be anytime from a month since September 23, probably not earlier, but you're already at risk of missing it. Did you ask them what the interview date was when you called? If not, call again, get to Level 2 officer and find out the date!

she just said , I do not have that information about interview date.But she updated my address and assured me that the letter will be sent to me again.

You might want to try an infopass appointment and get your letter in person from the USCIS office.

Actually I talked to them this morning.They are going to fax it to me by october 28th.

no, they did not. I mean they are making a big deal out of it.I am on the phone with them and I am worried that I might miss my interview appointment and they say it is confidential.Apparently they got my apartment number wrong in my file.Nobody realized it until I was transferred to level 2 officer.She said you won't receive the letter on time.So I assume my interview date would be someday in early November.

Do I need to show them driving license.I just moved to Nyc and my driving license still has virginia address?

Yes, at the beginning of the interview they ask for your driver's license, greencard, and passport(s).

I do not have renewed passport just an expired one in 2004.Are they particular to have a passport?
