Am I not sure why this is so confusing for you..

Proof of engagement and proof of evidence of support is required by the EMBASSY as part of the DS-157 Form. When a form says, please attach to this form, you should attach supporting documents. If you don't attach what they asking you.. You will delay your interview.

Also, make sure you have the original supporting documents with you for your interview. They may ask for it. May not. But be prepared.

They are not asking how he supports himself. They could careless how he supports himself.

Its all about how the american is going to support the immigrant. You need to provide your proof with the affidavit of support that you meet 125% of the poverty guidelines to support him when he comes to america. If you don't meed the requirements they will not approve the visa.

You were not supposed to send the affidavit of support to the USCIS you are supposed to send that and all the proof to your fiance after you got the NOA2. You will have to redo all that and send him new papers to bring to the interview.

So, if the Financial Affidavit of Support will be requested, I should send all of the appropriate documentation to my fiance to take to the interview in her own country? I am still in the "Initial Review" stage, but I have all of my records printed out right now. I just didn't think that she, if the USCIS requests it, would have to present it to her consul.

The USCIS does not request the I-134 from the petitioner. The USEM does. That is brought to the interview by the beneficiary or sent ahead to the USEM depending on the USEM instructions.

Mohsin like how I stated in the email the proof of engagement as well as the financial documents that goes along with your I-134 will need to be shown at the interview. There is no need for you to submit any proof of engagement or any of the I-134 related documents with packet 3.5.
