All,

My wife and I are about to file within the 90 day period and were debating on doing it without a lawyer this time. One thing I wasn't 100% sure about is the affadavit. Does this need to be in a form and notarized or can it be a word document we type up with the needed information and the sponsors signature?

Has anyone else done this that can tell me if it is ok to just be a printed out document that is signed?

Notaries only verify signatures. They have nothing to do with content of documents. No need t use one. Fill out the form & sign it.
