to my understanding, you do not have to send information to the NVC. Once the petition arrives to the embassy, then the embassy will notify you, and let you know what to bring for the interview

everything that you have ever sent nvc is now in Kingston at the embassy. They will f/ u with you to give u an interview date or to send them additional info depending on what visa you are petitioning for. But this is a good step!

this is 3rd base if you're playing baseball.

I got this same letter. I call the U.S. Embassy in Barbados, they say they we need to send the paperwork before they schedule the interview. What could this be? I sent them everything. Do they mean the DS-230

this is very odd. Normally certain information has to be sent to NVC when you are filing an I-130 for your spouse. It is there that they have to receive and review certain paperwork to see if your spouse is eligible for a visa. Did you pay your AOS fee and Visa Fee. If not this is very out of the ordinary. You need to contact the NVC to find out y none of the information was generated and sent to you.
