The topic is abortion. Herman Cain just pulled the plug on his own candidacy by coming out of the closet as being pro-choice.

I can have an opinion on an issue without it being a directive on the nation. The government shouldn't be trying to tell people everything to do, especially when it comes to a social decision that they need to make.

Yeah, he had to know that was like dropping an A-bomb. I don't see him having a career in politics beyond being a pundit.

It should be enough for them to simply state their positions on the record... these pledges are stupid. No one should be signing any.
