Hey all

long time lurker, this board has been a fantastic help. I'm adjusting from an F1 visa, and my AOS interview is in mid-November.

We filled out my original I864 with my wife as my sponsor, but she's taken extended maternity leave to care for our 6 month old. So, she no longer has current payslips. We've had her father fill out a replacement I864 and provide the necessary supporting documents.

So my question-- should we send off the replacement I864 to Lee's Summit, or should we just bring the replacement documents with us to the interview? I know the substance of the interview is to determine the marriage bona fides... should we bring it and only offer it if the IO asks?

thanks in advance

There is no " replacement " it would be a co-sponsor. Your wife is and always will be the primary sponsor of you regardless of income.

Bring the papers to the interview. Do not mail them.
