Dan's Passport expires April 4. Our AOS Interview is April 11. Does he to get a new Passport before the interview? Or will the expired one be ok?

I suggest he goes to his country's embassy and get his passport renewed. Claudeth's expires in June and we plan to go there in the next couple of weeks

That's some bad planning. I would try to get it renewed and expeditated NOW.
