You need the affidavit for the interview, not filing the petition.

Income needs to be 125% of the poverty limit. So, it depends on how many people are in your household.

How much money is enough for the petition to be approved?

The petitioner must prove that he/she can financially support the beneficiary, here are the 2011 poverty gudelines

to determine such.

So the success of the interview would depend on the affidavit? Is a big percentage of it being approved rite? Thanks so much everyone!

A successful interview will depend on several things like; how well prepared you are with the required docs, proof of your relationship, your background, knowing answers to questions about your fiance, ability to answer questions about the information in the petition, etc. You might get 10 questions or 2 questions, that depends on the CO.

With regards to the I-864, as long as you meet the guide lines based on family size and the income is stable, you should be ok.

if the petitioner is a temporary worker who works 30-40 hours a week (more likely a part time than a full time), would that be a problem for the visa to be approved during the interview?

is there any documents in filing I-129F that needs to be notorized?

thanks

This is what I found on http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/types/types_2994.html#9

it says:

"Do the Same Income Requirements Apply to Form I-134 as Apply to Form I-864?

No. The 125 percent of the federal poverty guideline minimum income requirement, the most recent year's tax return, and other requirements only apply when Form I-864 is needed. Applicants presenting Form I-134 will need to show that their U.S. sponsor's income is 100 percent of the federal poverty guideline. "
