K-1 SUSPENDED UNDER SECTION 221(G) OF THE UNITED STATES

HI EVERYONE I'M NEW HERE BUT I WAS WANTING TO ASK YOU ALL QUESTION OK MY FIANCE LIVE IN MOROCCO AND HE HAD HIS INTERVIEW 10-3-2011 AND THINGS WENT GREAT AS I SAID WE APPLY FOR K-1 AND I THOUGHT ALL THE PAPERS WAS THERE BUT I DIDN'T PUT IN THE 1040 FOR ME AND THE JOINT SPONSOR AND THE I-134 FOR HER HUSBAND BUT I DID GET IT MAIL TO HIM AND HE GAVE IT TOO THEM THIS PAST MONDAY 17TH AND THEY TOOK HIS PASSPORT TOO THEY TOLD HIM THEY WILL CALL HIM..MY QUESTION HOW LONG DO YOU THINK IT BE FOR THEY CALL AND DO YOU THINK WE WAS APPROVE ? PLEASE LET US KNOW IF YOU KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THIS PLEASE AT HIS INTERVIEW SHE GAVE HIM A WHITE PAPER SAYING SUSPENEDED UNDER SECTION 221(G) OF THE UNITED STATES.... ASKING FOR THE PAPERS SHE ASK FOR ...

Should take about a week after he turns in the required documents to get his visa, if he was approved.

I disagree My fiancee was in AP for 3 weeks and all they needed was her passport.

If he was approved you can hope you get a quick call back once those documents were submitted but they could take longer if they place him on AP. I have not seen too many AP cases for K-1. One good sign is that they kept his passport. Just standfast and if you don't hear anything after 14 days call the Department of State to get an update or call the consulate but I never got any positive feedback from Casa they took the time they needed to process the case.

I was just speaking from my personal experience, when my husband got the 221(g) for the same exact reason at the same exact consulate... Only difference was, they didn't even keep his passport, they took it when he brought the documents in. He had his visa 3 days later...

See that what they did with my fiance she said to him get me what I need and bring it to the window and your passport and we will call you ...

Just get it to them as soon as possible, wait a week, and if you don't hear anything back, call or email the consulate for your status.

He did give it too them this past Monday the 17th we thought we might heard from them already but nothing yet we was just wondering how long it takes for them to call him back ..
