I-485 Sent to Another Office

Recieved a NOA1 on 9/28.

Yesterday, received an NOA email that said the following: "On October 18, 2011, we transferred this case I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS to another office for processing and sent you a notice explaining this action." This status is also on the USCIS "My Case Status" website. (Both our K-1 and K-2 I-485 received this email)

I know that some I-485 are sent to CSC for processing, but usually the notice states that. This just says "to another office".

Have not received the hard-copy yet. Hopefully it will have additional info.

But, in the meantime, does anyone know what this means?

09/15/2011 Went back to doctor to get PPD read

09/15/2011 Sent package via express USPS at 5:30 pm

09/16/2011 Email confirmation of delivery to lockbox in Chicago

09/20/2011 Email/text from USCIS

09/20/2011 Cashier's check cashed!!

09/21/2011 Touch (for what?, I don't know)

09/27/2011 2 NOA1 in mail! Dated: September 20, 2011 (I485 & I765)

10/03/2011 Biometrics letter in the mail. Dated 9/28. Appt. for 10/26.

10/04/2011 Biometrics walk in- Successful!!!!!! 

11/09/2011 Text/Email stating EAD card is in production 

11/15/2011 EAD Update

11/16/2011 Approval of EAD sent by mail

11/18/2011 EAD in hand

11/21/1011 Applied for SSN

11/26/2011 Social Security Card in the mail!

--/--/2011 Interview

02/16/2012 Date when P.R. began

12/22/2016 Mailed N400 forms Dallas Texas

12/30/2016 USCIS received N400 application (Texas Lockbox)

01/09/2017 Credit Card charged $680

01/11/2017 Notice date

01/15/2017 Notice date for biometrics appt

01/31/2017 Biometrics appointment at West Palm Beach ASC

02/03/2017 Notification (online) - Application in interview process

07/25/2017 Text notification that my case was updated. Interview scheduled! Waiting for letter with interview date. 
07/31/2017 Letter received in the mail! Interview date: August 31, 2017. Notice date: July 26, 2017

08/31/2017 Interview - Approved - Oath letter given to me same day

09/07/2017 Oath Ceremony!

or maybe it got transferred to the California Service Center which may mean 'no interview' required

17JUN2010 - Report of Birth Abroad and U.S.Citizenship approved/verified for son @ embassy

08NOV2010 - K1 Interview

13NOV2010 - Visa picked up @ Domesa Bogota

14NOV2010 - POE - Miami International Airport

29AUG2011 - I-485, I-131, I -765 Sent

02SEP2011 - Notification of Receipt by Email and Text

06SEP2011 - NOA1 x 3 Recieved !!!!

03OCT2011 - NOA / Case transferred to California Service Center

05OCT2011 - Biometrics done

26OCT2011 - 'EAD/AP Approval/Card in Production' via Text/E-Mail

03NOV2011 - EAD/AP Card Recieved !

23OCT2012 - GC/Card Production Text ! Finally !

Received the hard-copy this weekend. Yep, it is going to the CSC. Hope this means no interview. Biometrics next Friday! :dance:

Mine went CSC three months back and was sent back to LEE's MO again on 18th October. I don't know what is going on. Just keep keep your finger cross :D:D

Hi Rob,

Yea...I wish there were a process flowchart with all the possibilities(well maybe not all but the most common)about the AOS processing. I think that you can expect a notification of GC production soon though.
