I had my interview on Oct 13 2011, I stuck in admin process is there any benefit of taking help from immigration lawyer to come out from admin process and get approved ?

i think, especially in EMEA countries, they scrutinize more on visa applications .. many of ur vj friends here are on the same boat.. maybe you can search their forum for possible answers

I -130 SENT : April 26, 2011

NOA 1 : May 1, 2011

TOUCHED : May 5, 2011

NOA2 : August 1, 2011

Our I-130 was approved in 92 days from our NOA1 date.

CASE NUMBER ASSSIGNED : Sept. 12, 2011

EMAILED DS3032 : October 6, 2011

AOS FEE BILL PAID : October 11, 2011

IV FEE BILL PAID : October 24, 2011

NVC received AOS and IV packs = Nov. 3, 2011

NVC RESPONSE = Nov. 8, 2011 - RFE for missing proof of relationship with co-sponsor

Mailed RFE file = Nov. 9, 2011

NVC received RFE = November 14, 2011, 9:54 am, PORTSMOUTH, NH 03801

CASE CLOSED = Nov. 18, 2011 :D

MEDICAL EXAM = Dec 20-21, 2011 = PASSED!!!

INTERVIEW DATE = January 6, 2012 = APPROVED!!! ----Our interview took 250 days from our I-130 NOA1 date.

VISA PRODUCTION = January 6,2012

VISA DELIVERY = January 11, 2012

POE = Feb.18, 2012

SSN Received = Feb 25, 2012

GC received = April 5, 2012 (incorrect data entry :((, sent back April 9, 2012)

CORRECT GC RECEIVED = August 22, 2012, granted IR1 (10 year gc)

that's where our USCIS process ends for now.. will wait for the next 3-4 years what we'll do next...

No.. Unfortunately nobody can help get you out of the AP until the embassy clears you. You would just be wasting your money. You only began the AP there are those of us so stuck.. Carolyn is 10 months and counting and we are at 4 months ourselves but all we can do is wait for them to do the work and clear the beneficiary. Once that is done it wont take much time to complete. From everything I read lately the ap average times is from 4-6 months and those that are longer are not sooo many.. we just read about it more because they are so frustrated and they have that right so they are posting needing advice and help.

Just take it day by day... some days are easier ..some days are harder.. Best of luck!

1/04/14 Case opened for review

8/31/15 Interview- no questions visa approved on the spot

9/8/15 visa status issued

9/10/15 visa received

i have seen couple of guys from K-1 Visa they weren't put on AP approved without being on AP is it important

for everyone to be on AP no matter you have so many proofs on ongoing relationship pics email etc thanks

There is no benefit in having an immigration lawyer as far as help with AP. I have a lawyer and while it was nice to have all of the paperwork prepared by her, she cant help me get out of AP. Only benefit was I did not get RFE and I wasnt asked for any additional documents at the time of my husband's interview.

She has requested the senator's office to look into my case couple of times but even they cant help me :(
