Leaving country during ROC process

So I'm currently undergoing AOS, getting pretty impatient as I had biometrics in August and still not heard anything. I'm planning on leaving the country to spend time with my family over christmas. My first NOA states my conditional resident status is extended by a year and I'm authorized for employment and travel. Does this mean I'm ok to leave the country, even if I haven't gotten my new GC by then, as long as I present the NOA along with my expired GC to immigration upon return?

if your status is extended you are NOT doing AOS.

You are REMOVING conditions.

Thanks guys I was confused by all the acronyms!

So my NOA plus my expired GC will be all I need when re-entering the US. I'm only planning to be gone for less than a month.
