CSC NOA2... do you have any idea what's going on?

Really? Umm I wonder if it has anything to do with the accuracy of the documents filled out, as well as the amount/quality of PROOF EVIDENCE one provides in the application.

It could be if it's totally 'obvious' the relationship is bona-fide, they slip it to the top of the next pile and pump it out quickly.

Your time-frame seems pretty rare.

I know everyone is patiently waiting for NOA2, and my fast approval made anyone angry,I apologize.

My intention was simply to share my experience. It could be pure luck, or even an error by CSC workers to process mine before someone's. I don't know...

I've used local attorney who have processed hundreds of K-1 or other petitions, most of them with issues and potentially difficult cases. He even told me that the use of attorney in my case is not necessary. He was up front with everything and honest, so I decided to hire him anyway. I used him for advices, and review of my documents that I prepared.

After several reviews on my petition and supporting documents, I felt the package was solid. Although my attorney only had several Japan fiancee cases, he told me that all his Japan cases were approved in 2~3 months period (after NOA1). Again, it could just be a pure luck.

I focused on "quality" supporting documents rather than the quantity to show our relationship is genuine. I've been together with my fiancee for 3 yrs now, only a part (LDR) and engaged for about a year. During LDR, I've made a trip to see her twice, and planning to do so again this winter.

Like I said in the other post, it is very difficult to be a part with your loved one. I, sincerely hope everyone a fast/timely approval and wish all of us to be together with your fiance/fiancee soon.

Regards,

K-1

Odds are CSC adjudicators were put on other type visa petitions that had fallen behind posted processing times and have caught up on those, then were switched back to I-129F's.

Petition processing has always been an up and down thing and it's not unusual to see a lull in 1 type of petition processing for a while and a surge in others. Then the cycle changes and the petition type that had a lull gets going again...

Im on 127 days @ csc still waiting.......

CR-1 always takes longer than I-129F for K-1, but look at it this way, you don't have to go through AOS or wait for EAD for your spouse when they arrive.

Hope your approval comes along soon.

more likely to do with luck and someone making a mistake at USCIS and putting the file in the wrong place. nothing you do with your petition can help get it approved so quickly

Money and Connections talk.

If that important, maybe he could have slipped a few thousand dollars to someone he knows who knows someone who works there and, find the file and move it along quicker(then feign a mistake) ?

I'm no expert, but yea, seems totally unrealistic that a few week turn-a-round could happen in this type of process.
