He will need to find a co-sponsor for the AOS.

Not necessarily true. I might be wrong. There is really no standard from what I read on the AOS being submitted immediately after Marridge. If the husband has lost his employment and you feel the AOS will be denied for income reasons then don't File until he gains employment to suffice the poverty guildlines. I see no hurry in filing the AOS. I would suggest filing for an AED so you could work though and add income.

Why spend $1,100.00 for the AOS when there is no sufficient income to back it up. ? I don't know much about AED's but it gives you a right to work and hopefully he will find new employment and then File for the AOS.

Other members know more about this than me, but I think the AED is around $350.00.

Others please add. I'm only going on what I read previously here.

1/15-16/14.. 2nd Medical exam updated
1/21/14...... k1 interview-Visa Approved

8/29/14...... Submitted AOS application
10/03/14.....Biometrics
01/07/15.....Received my EAD card

01/31/15..... I got my SSN from the mail

04/20/15......AOS Interview - Approved :star:

4/24/15 .......Got the Driving Permit Card

4/30/15 .......Green Card Received :) (Exp.4/20/17)
