Hi I am an F1 visa, i just got married on June. We just filed all the paper and sent it this morning. I am wondering if it is ok for me to drop out of school now. My advisor said it is not a good thing for me to drop all my classes before i get my green card because i will become illegal. What should I do ?? please help me...

Once your AOS is received - and you get the NOA - your status is "frozen" till the AOS is decided. - You will not be "illegal" if you drop out of school prior to the greencard.

You can drop out once you get that NOA - however, if it's denied, and you didn't maintain your F-1 status, you would have to go home based on that F-1 visa.

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.

Is it NOA1 OR NOA2??

AOS - you only get one NOA.
