An illegal has just as much a right to all the freebies as a legal does in my view.

Yeah, I didn't really read further than this statement. :o Clearly, we're on opposite ends of the spectrum and the two shall never meet.

It might be relevant if it is painting your views.

Probably. Just like the man married to an illegal Mexican spouse has his views colored by his circumstances or the 15 year old illegal alien advocating for the DREAM Act, I am sure that my upbringing and experiences have influenced my political views.

Yeah his views are hard to defend and can't stand up to reason but you have to give him credit, he at least didn't stoop to the vacancy of trying to turn it into a racial thing.

:thumbs:

Bottom line, a country without borders is no country at all.

That being said, in most cases these illegals are humans just trying to better their lot, the blame does not really fall on them at all it falls on us for allowing millions to conclude they are welcome.

TO those who believe all are free to come.... you have no idea what that even means.

I don't give thought or care to those who DON'T SIMPLY draw the line:

Illegal = Criminal.

Legal = __________.

Fill in the blank, you simpleton.

I'm old enough to acknowledge that very simply put, there are those with every one of the 360 degrees of thought and opinion about any subject, but.... THIS ONE, I really don't understand those others' views.

Why? It provides opportunities for people to get an education who otherwise might not be able to. The more college educated residents in California translates to better jobs...or at least that's the idea behind college grants. IMO, Cal Grant recipients should be obligated to working in the state for a certain number of years as a condition or pay a penalty. That way, the investment doesn't go to another state.

Do you think that having better educated illegals is more beneficial to the country than stopping the problem to begin with?
