as to another amnesty, the left has already said that US citizens won't work in the same jobs as illegals so can't give them amnesty, else we won't have anyone to do those jobs.

the only thing that keeps these people from claiming even more benefits from US taxpayers is for them to remain illegal.

Where the extremes meet:

One of the most impressive quotes of all time:

We humans have seen the atoms which constitute all of nature and the forces that sculpted this work and others. We have found that the molecules of life are easily formed under conditions throughout the cosmos. We have mapped the molecular machines of the heart of life. We have discovered a microcosm in a drop of water; we have peered into the bloodstream and down on the stormy planet to see the earth as a single organism. We have found volcanoes on other worlds and explosions on the sun, studied comets from the depths of space and traced their origins and destinies; listened to pulsars and searched for other civilizations. We humans have set foot on another world in a place called the Sea of Tranquility, an astonishing achievement for creatures such as we, whose earliest footsteps three and one-half million years old are preserved in the volcanic ash of east Africa. We have walked far.

These are some of the things that hydrogen atoms do given fifteen billion years of cosmic evolution.

thank you, very much... Lord Infamous

It pisses me off to no end. My wife got her first US job this summer and half of them (at McDonalds) are illigal. They say it. They "buy" papers and a SS#. Of course someones identity was stolen for that # but many don't see that. They also claim many dependents so no taxes are withdrawn. They told my wife to put down 6 dependents----not one dime of federal taxes was witheld. Of course my wife will pay in April, but them? Why? It's not their SS #. They are ILLEGAL. They also drive around with no insurance. What are the repurcussions? All info they have is under a stolen identity in which they bought. When they have issues they buy a new one. What if they wreck? No problem, the other person will have to pay to fix their own car---or worse. They are also having more babies so they can collect more of OUR money.

A couple of her friends are now crying the blues because they are having a hard time finding a job and can't send money home to MeHico to the kids they have there. CRY ME A FRIKEN RIVER. I hate them. I truly hate them. I have spent thousands for my wife to be here legally. My mom had to go through some of the same paperwork when she immigrated from Norway in the 50's so I deffinatly am not against immigration. I'm against ILLEGAL immigrtation. They are not imigrants, guest workers, or undocumented alians. THEY ARE THEIVES who don't belong here. They can go home and get in line. Nothing but a bunch of criminals. All they do is cry that it's so impossible to get a visa. Well, look at all the people on this site who have done just that. It can be done. They just feel it is their right to live here and collect our taxes without putting anything in. Stealling identity and jobs from people who have the right to be here. It makes me sick.

What would happen if an American citizen got caught with a stolen SS#, robbing from others, and driving without insurance and a licence? If he had a licence it would be fake and under false numbers. What woyuld happen? I guerentee he wouldn't get let off the hook like these thieves do.

Some numbers.

Nearly eight million immigrants came to the United States from 2000 to 2005, more than in any other five-year period in the nation's history.[36] Almost half entered illegally.[37] Since 1986, Congress has passed seven amnesties for illegal immigrants.[38] In 1986, Ronald Reagan signed immigration reform that gave amnesty to 3 million illegal immigrants in the country.[39] Hispanic immigrants were among the first victims of the late-2000s recession,[40] but since the recession's end in June 2009, immigrants posted a net gain of 656,000 jobs.[41] 1.1 million immigrants were granted legal residence in 2009.[42]

Legal Immigration alone, each person below can set in place their own family chain-migration network.

imo, illegal aliens should be dropped just past the border, about 11 miles out from the texas coastline.

There are places where they can walk back, it's not so deep there, in the Gulf of Mexico.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

In my humble opinion, the only people who support illegal immigration are the illegals themselves and liberal college students who have yet to pay a bill.

Pay what bill? How does having a piece of paper giving one legitimate status as an immigrant somehow make that immigrant any less of a burden to society than one without that paper? Please explain this because this rant gets repeated ad nauseum as one of the reasons why some people are against any legal avenues for undocumented to become legitimate.

Why? The Dream Act is for those who were brought here as children, have lived here most of their lives and just want to be legitimate, legal citizens. I'm baffled as to why this upsets some people. They are no more a burden to society than the immigrant spouses and children we've all brought here to the U.S.. The only difference is a goddam piece of paper.
