My husband got his biometrics appt for 11/1 but is keen to try to do a walk in.

Our case cannot be found online using the receipt numbers.

Can he still try to do a walk in, or would this cause any problems?

I mean MSC# ...

But as long as he's got the letter, he'll be alright.

Finding your case online and biometrics aren't related---well you don't have to be in the online thing. The letter has barcodes they scan for their internal database stuff. Walk-in is always a gamble, but if it's convenient to try it then go for it.

Our 485 case number didn't show up until after biometrics. We were able to do a walk-in, though. It really depends on if your local office will allow it, but the receipt number being online won't affect it. You need to bring the letter, though.

I've been doing some reading yesterday & today about Santa Ana. I hope the grumpy guard isn't working. :-/
