Are you seriously taking the position of just walking away from crime? As was asked earlier, what if you came home to a man raping your wife? Would you stand there and ask nicely for him to stop?

Better yet, people that call someone else with a gun when they need it(dial 911 for a gun) should be required to put a sign in their front yard "There are NO GUNS in this house, I call 911"

People who call 911 to get a person with a gun when they need one should be required to walk around with a sign around their neck that says "I am unarmed, I call 911"

If not, then the typical wussie is simply leeching off others who choose to defend themselves and do the heavy lifting to provide safety for their community by carrying concealed weapons. I am about sick of parasites that benefit from my willingness to take responsibility and then go around and say we should not be allowed to protect ourselves and our families. Bite me.

If you are not going to do your part, at least say so publicly.

I wasn't insinuating that I would want the police to come over and be violent either. My intention would be for the police to come over and arrest someone. If I knew there would be some sort of shootout I would not call them.

I've had a gun pulled on me by 2 guys on a motorbike in Colombia. I simply acted like I had no idea what they said and I walked the other way. End of story. Had they continued on by my side I would have happily given them anything they wanted, no questions asked.

Anyone here can carry a gun. ANYone. No license needed. Read that again if you like.

I have NEVER had a gun pulled on me here. I cannot imagine that even happening. I say I would shoot back but actually I may be too shocked to respond!

By not figthing back you embolden them to act again and that makes you partly responsible for the next round of violence they will cause. Someone may be dead because you failed to act.... My fiance was shell-shocked that I just walked away. There are not too many people alive that stood in my shoes. I.e. If you do not give them what they want, you are dead and there will be "no" witnesses and there will be "no" investigation. Life means very little in Colombia.

I wondered that myself for years and I came up with a few conclusions. I think those gals like being in control...like ####### envy or something so they marry some dude who eats salads, drinks red wine, and gets manicures. Those are the type of guys that they can controll. Then when those gals get older hormones and genetics take over and they want a real guy to show em what it's all about.

I used to feast on those type of gals at the yuppie bars when I was hanging iron in Seattle. Groups of office workers would be in there drinking the pansy drinks and we would come in there and feast on just about any chick we wanted. They all want to take a ride on the wild side and see how they match up. That's when you get ripped, treat them like ####### and give some wild dirty sex and then send them on their way with that rode hard put away wet look.

Residents can own firearms but most people do not own them... The process of purchasing a gun is difficult and lengthy and is controlled by the military.. I have no Idea about carrying a concealed weapon.

Here, you can go to a gun shop, buy a gun, walk out with it 5 minutes later, load it, put it in your belt under your shirt and go to the mall. We have virtually no crime here.
