My fiancée went to her interview on Oct 7th. She and several other women all had 6:30 am appointments. All seemed to have quick interviews with no problems. One already has her visa and 2 more have verified it is with 2GO document service. No word on ours yet. We are checking the 2GO web site and calling them daily. Next call is to the Embassy when they open.

What do you think?

I know parts of the overall process can take different amounts of time for different people. Each case is judged on its own merit. But I assumed after the interview and told that you are approved the actual issuing of the K1 visa should be straight forward and not vary much.

dont worry CO might verfying some of ur fiancee's docs., better to e-mail the embassy so u know if the visa was issued or still pending for review... bcoz even they said she is approve before printing the visa they still need to have final check with all the docs. if they said visa is already been issued then call 2go.. and get ur tracking no. sometimes MNL is there tracking no. but sometimes they give other tracking no.

She was told congratulations and that her visa was approved. They really were not asked many questions or asked for many documents. Her and her daughters English are both very good so I don't think there was a misunderstanding. I will ask her if she remembers the exact wording. She is going to post her experience here on VJ after getting back home and to her own computer.

I think then she filled out something about how she wanted the visa delivered. She is waiting in Manila for it now and will picked up at one of the 2Go offices.

Me and my fiancée had our interview same day and time and have yet to receive her visa. I called the embassy this morning and was told that it has not been processed for delivery yet. I am still hoping that we will receive soon because I am schedule to leave here next wed. and would very much like for her and her daughter to join me on the trip home. Please keep me posted if your fiancée receives hers. I sounds like maybe we all had the same counselor and he is just slow on processing.

Fiancée called embassy and the visa is still being processed.

I sent email and got the standard reply "we are busy, we'll let you know in a week, don't ask again"

She should have visa in hand before they send the real email reply.
