Her bro is currently 21 at the moment so I guess it will take longer this time.

The brother isn't immigrating here until he's at least 32-33 years old.

Your wife qualifies for US citizenship in 2 years. It will take 6-12 months for her to naturalize. It would take her another 11 years to petition for him. That's another 13-14 years from now. He can get marry, have children. They will be able to immigrate with him if his US citizen sister petitions for him. He will be around 34-35 years old by the time he is eligible to immigrate.

If your wife petitions for her parents, it will take about 6-12 months. They can only file for an unmarried son. It will take around 7-8 years. On top of the time it takes your wife to naturalize, it will mean 11 to 12 years from now before he can immigrate. He must stay unmarried while his parent is an LPR. If he gets marry, the petition dies since an LPR cannot petition for a married son. He will be able to bring his minor children with him, but not the mother of the children.

There are many other routes, E2 and EB5 come to mind.

They are very popular with Asian Investors. E2 would not be that much.

And I just used them as examples.

I know you were using them as examples. I am not a fan of the investor visas - it's unseemly to be able to "buy" a green card and ultimately get US citizenship with it.

I apologize for my digression. Back to the OP's issues.

Well you can not on an E2, but it would get you status whilst you wait.

I have a brother but think it is weird I could sponsor him as a family member.
