Should I apply for extension or change of status?

Should I apply for extension or change of status while I am waiting for my husband's citizenship? My visitor visa expires soon.

I enter the US on B2 visa. I got married in US in July. My visa expires at the end of October. My husband has permanent resident status. He will get American citizenship at the end of November (his naturalization oath is at the end of November). Before my expiration date I have to apply for extension. If my husband applies for my green card after getting citizenship, it will take less time. But is it reasonable to apply now for extension considering my marriage?
