Having read some other forum posts (which be embassy depependant) it seems the initial petition should have HAD ALL proof of relationship. It had a lot but as much as we would have sent had we thought for a second it needed it ALL. I am the beneficiary and will be attenting London, i thought we got to take more documenatry proof then of our continuing relationship for them to consider, is this true???? heeeelllpp!!! :) I have LOADS to show them but just need a chance to :)

Just bring proof of an ongoing relationship to your interview. (plane tickets, pictures, chat logs, etc.)

If your petition does not have enough evidence they will send an RFE, and in that case, just provide them with what they ask for.

I never had any RFE's but my understanding is that they will send an RFE if they think you didn't submit enough evidence to "prove" your relationship is real. As long as you submitted photos, plane tickets, etc with your petition it will probably be fine.

They never looked at any of my evidence at my interview, but all interviews are different. I brought everything I had from our original petition up until my interview.

Don't stress. It's a bit overwhelming at first but once you get sorted for your interview you'll think it was easy

We've had 2 interviews in London and neither time have we been asked for additional information. The first interview we brought it just in case but no request was made so the 2nd interview John didn't take anything except for a copy of some forms we submitted just in case. Which in the end we needed because one piece of paper with additional visit dates had been misplaced.

london wont ask for any proof of ongoing relationship but so long as you supplied enough evidence with your initial application to prove you had met and the relationship was real then you will be fine. ive even seen people on here get approved without including any photos... you will be fine so dont worry. probably best that you take it to interview but it will not be required

godspeed

i just noticed you already got your NOA2 so your proof of relationship was good enough :)

Phew....thank you so so so much for taking time to set my mind at rest. Thats great news. Yes, we have our NOA2, I was just troubled after reading another forum post by a couple who got as far as the embassy in jamaica and were told 'not enough proof based with just one meeting' and had the case referred back to the States. This is a relief to hear it might not be the case for us. We have pictures of petitioner with my children too so i 'll add that in 'ongoing relationship' file :) As well as a print out of literally over 4,000 emails(by headings not the whole emails -of course!!) back and forth between us. In the original petition we included one picture of us together, two sample facebook pages (one showing contact since 2009 and one showing engagement posting with commments), verizon telephone bills from sept 2010 to the petition date in June, the past (up until than) three months skype calls, plane tickets, hotel and restaurant receipts, engagement ring receipt, photocopies of postmarked envelopes from England to the U.S, British car hire receipts. NOW we have wedding ring receipts, venue booking details, my obsessively compulsion 200 page file of all contact for the past year (lol) and of course MORE pictures from our time together including him with my children (we have only met in person once).

well if that isnt enough then i am screwed haha. from all the london interview reviews that ive read though they havent asked for any proof of ongoing relationship at all... it even looks as though they dont ask for a co-sponsor even when the main sponsor doesnt meet the 125% poverty level.

always best to be prepared though cos you just never know

In terms of additional 'proof', as others have mentioned - not required by London. My now-husband came arme with a small briefcase full of stuff. They only cared really about the I-134 + paperwork, and asked him like 3 questions - so much stressing for nothing, he thought :)

Good luck xx

A tip: From this point in your journey, stop reading Jamaica, Canada, Philippines, etc. London is very different and very easy. Ask your document/medical/interview questions in the UK forum. Each consulate has their own preferred procedure and order to handle the visa issuance and they vary widely from country to country.
