Ok, I see everyone talking about R/T tickets from the country the immigrant will be coming from, but my question is this.....Can a R/T ticket be purchased from the U.S. because it is cheaper for them to fly here and use only the ticket returning to the U.S? Example.....My finance flying with Arik air from Nigeria would pay approximately $2000 U.S. for a ticket one way to JFK, however, if purchased as R/T from JFK to Lagos, and back it would cost just $1000 U.S.....Now would that be an issue?

Buy the cheapest; it doesn't matter to Immigration.
