If your joint sponsor and their household member file taxes jointly, do you need to send in a tax transcript for each of them, or will one transcript suffice?

Does the household member need to submit proof of (natural) US citizenship in the form of a birth certificate, or passport?

We are planning on having the household member fill out form I-864A to avoid having the joint sponsor send in full tax returns and W-2s (about 50 pages, versus a few for the transcript and I-864A). If the household member's "current individual annual income" in question 10 is very little, and the joint sponsor's individual annual income is already well above the minimum for sponsorship, will we get an RFE, requesting the joint sponsor's full returns and W-2s since "Form I-864A may only be used when a sponsor's income and assets do not meet the income requirements of Form I-864 and the qualifying household member chooses to combine his or her resources with the income and/or assets of a sponsor to meet the requirements."?

I know this stuff is tedious....thanks for your help!

The joint sponsor can submit a transcript along with their 864A as well. USCIS prefers IRS transcripts for any sponsor.

Every sponsor must submit proof of citizenship or LPR status.

Sorry I'm still confused:

Is the "household member" of the joint sponsor also a sponsor? If the joint sponsor and their household member file a joint tax return, won't their tax transcripts be identical?

Each document (864 and 864A) needs its own supporting evidence. Attach copies of joint tax transcripts to each form.
