I'm certain I miss spelled the avvidate of support so forgive me,Anyway let's get down to my story.I'm 17 years old,my wife is 18,and we have mailed out of papers about 5months ago.We have gotten word that they have reached overseas(where my wife lives),and I'm wondering since I'm 17,and i'm pretty sure it says you need to be 18 to sign the avvidate of support, will we be denied? My parents will co-sign and we are also sending a note signed by my parents confirming that we will be living with them. It's been 5months so if my age was the issue wouldn't I have been denied immidatley? Also I know people who have successfully obtained the visa while the sponsor was only 17.Also my birthday is not close,it just passed acually so please don't suggest waiting, also I've been married for about 6 months now and have already visited my wife(when we got married).Help me please. Also where Im from young marriages are very common so please don't judge. Thanks

READ I-864 instructions. You're the primary sponsor and you have to be AT LEAST 18 before you can fill it out. Sorry, but you will have to wait until you are 18 to fill out the form. No exceptions taken.

You should've read the instructions before sending the I-130 so you could time the petition to be approved when you're 18. Now you get to wait some more - should help provide you with bona fide marriage evidence with length of marriage.

Good luck!

USCIS do not deny based on that, as it is the CO to look into those issues. As other poster said, you must to be 18, so unfortunately you have to wait, there is no exceptions and co-sponsor will not help till you turn 18.

I *think* there may be a loophole, but I am no expert on this, so just look into this/ hope someone with more knowledge than me will post:

You posted this in the K3 forum, not the CR-1 spousal visa forum. If indeed you can get a K3 (most of them are administratively closed at NVC, forcing you onto the CR-1 path), then I believe at the embassy, the I-134 is required, not the I-864. The I-134 is not legally binding, so there is a chance the CO may allow you to sign it, and by the time the I-864 is needed for adjustment of status from the K3 visa in the USA, you'll be 18.
