Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.

I recommend that you investigate and ask around at this forum: http://www.smf.juarez-mexico.com/

They tend to focus on waiver appointments and the information is specific to Juarez so you'll likely find good information there. Another forum that discusses the waiver often is: http://immigrate2us.net/forum/content.php

Timeline:

02/04/2004 - A young Zinker arrives in Mexico to study Spanish and the dating game begins

2004--2005 - Many subsequent visits to Mx ensue to be with my love; engaged in March 2005!

04/??/2005 - I-129F is filed from within the US

06/09/2005 - Zinker moves to Mexico

09/??/2005 - I-129F is approved

10/15/2005 - Interview in Cd. Juarez and subsequently approved for a K1 Visa!..But visa is left in Juarez

10/17/2005 - Due to unexpected pregnancy and a job offer in Mx - we decide not to pursue the visa and it expires :(

01/04/2006 - Married in Mexico

10/09/2011 - Two children later and a comfortable life in Mexico... Preparing to file I-130 in December 2011. Stay Tuned!

we went to our I 601 appointment on september 19th. it was for smuggling of our children. anyone have any info on how long it will take to get our response?

There is a thread at immigrate2us.net with DHL wait times. You will find thd most cdj specific info there not here. Just look under the 601 mexico forum and it should be a pinned topic.
