Not really in Belarus, but Ukraine has a decent sized Tatar population in the Crim, and Russia has a bunch from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, etc..

Tatars are of Mongolian descent and are prevelent in Crimea. I would not go to Ukraine looking for Oriental women, you will be disappointed. There are not a lot of "minorities" there. Odessa has maybe more than other places, because of the port facilities and people from all over the world. Odessa is heavily Jewish also though certainly not a majority. There are a lot of Georgians, Moldovans, Armenians etc.

Ukrainian women, it seems to me, tend to be more brunettes and less blondes, but certainly they are a lot of blondes. just less than farther north. They are, I think, taller than American women but I may be wrong about that. Just an impression. They are slender and all wear heels. Alla is 5' 7" and I would not call her "tall" by Ukrainian standards. Just normal. With high heels she is nearly as tall as I am. Lots of blue eyed brunettes. Love it!

Seriously I never understood where Hitler got off on his "superior race" thing and considering Slavic people as less than human. In my experience they are very fine examples of the human race, almost "textbook" proportions. I think Hitler was probably a madman.

They are also very accomodating people to guests and foreigners and I never felt uncomfortable or felt I was treated rudely in general (yeah, there are some @ssholes, big surprise)People sometimes think they are rude because they are not phoney. Very direct and honest but they feel that is a compliment.

She gets that reaction pretty much from anyone over 13 and under 95. Another thing to get used to. And, by the way, they (RUB women)LOVE it! In Ukraine, sexual harrassment is not a crime it is a benefit.

And they use it to their benefit. Unapologetically. It is no surprise she is a very popular and heavily requested interpreter for the hospital by both the patients and doctors, and she is normally looking her "Ukrainian best" when she goes to do an interpretation.

I grabbed my share of arses in night clubs over there and I always got one of those "do me smiles" in return. If I ever tried that over here not only would I probably get smacked upside the head by some radical chick, but I could possibly be looking at charges.
