Hello all , this may seem like a stupid post but I guess Im just looking for reassuarance. I sent my K1 packet to Lewisville, Tx through UPS on 6 Oct arrived 11 Oct@0933 (forgot about Columbus day). Heres my worry

Left At: Dock (This has me nervous, was it left on a dock)

How long does it usually take to cash the check....I have never wanted too see a $340 check clear as fast as I want this one too lol.....at least I would know we are officially in the que for the long wait :).........Like I said I guess Im just looking for some reassurance, to calm the what if's going thru my head. Thanks and I apologize if you think I may be too impatient already ;)

It took them about a month for ours, about the time we gave up, got upset we received the acknowledgement, it went basically smooth until AOS, now waiting again.

In Arizona its hot hot hot.

Well, you sent the petition to the correct place and it was signed for - so these are all good signs.

You're good to go up to this point. Next stop = NOA2...

YES!!!! 1130 at night and i get my NOA1 texted to me woohooo.....now the wait is official lol

Mar 2011 - After 5mths denied for lost docs - Attempts to follow up failed. Mar 18 2012 - I-129F sent - No sign of NOA1 but they have banked the check...Jul 24 - Update - USCIS has located our file
Infopass Apt - they sorted through everything - our 2011 and 2012 file keep getting mixed up - getting us a Case# (still waiting) Dec- Infopass Appt- expecting to get a case # in about a week ..Still no Case number
Mar 2013 Infopass - advised file was in a box somewhere,and it would be quicker for us to refile. Life gets in the way... New petition submitted July 2014 .

Thanks guys, for the reassuance and well wishes. I honestly didnt know what a relief this would be whew :) ...holy cow whats the rest of the wait going to be like :)
