So here I am, once again with my questions, I thought I was almost done with assembling my documents, but nope))

Form I-864.

My sponsor will be my father in low, but the problem is that His tax return form was filed jointly with his wife. Does that mean I need to fill out form I-864A?

And second. My sponsor has another son, and sponsor's wife(which is my mom in law) filled out I-864 for their son's wife) I saw that form. In section INCOME YOU ARE USING FROM ANY OTHER PERSON WHO WAS COUNTED IN YOUR HOUSEHOLD SIZE they actually did not mentioned my father -in -law, therefore no form I-864A was filled out previously .And that girl got her green card  So what should I do now?

When i'm filing, what should i answer on a question "If you have sponsored any other person on I-864?" if not he, but his wife did?

I am in a great great freaking confusion....

Help, please, I don't wanna go to lawyer, only because of this confusing data i got now)

If your father in law's income is enough in it of itself to fulfill the requirement then you DO NOT have to include his wife. Even though their taxes were done jointly, you would only need to send in a copy of HIS W-2 as proof of income.

It sounds like your mother in law was a sponsor previously NOT your father in law (hope I understood correctly) in that case the answer to the question "have you sponsored any other person?" would be NO. Unless he did fill out an I-864A for that other girl....

I would double check with your in-law's as to exactly who signed what for whom and make sure you have accurate information before completing the I-864
