Is there a way to change the Beneficiary's address and consulate? My husband's address at the time we were filing the I-130 was England, but his visa expired recently and he is trying to get it renewed (there is very little hope of that) and in worse case scenario he might have to move back to his home country, Pakistan. Is there a way to let NVC know that we would prefer for our case be sent to the US embassy in Pakistan instead of London? We haven't been assigned a case number by NVC yet and I have heard that changing embassies after an embassy is assigned can take a long time.

Any suggestions? Really need some advice and help here. Thank you guys.

If your case is at the NVC you have to email them and let them know about this change, you'll need yours and beneficiary's name, DOB and case number, try calling and see if you can use your receipt number.

So how will I know the case has been forwarded to NVC from the USCIS? I don't want to wait till NVC appoints a case number.

When your petition is approved you receive the NOA2, on this one they tell you that your case has been approved and that they will forward it to the NVC.

I believe my case has been forwarded to NVC already because I received my NOA2 last month and had to make an inquiry with USCIS and they told me the case is at NVC. So my question is should I call NVC now and tell them that my husband is planning to move back to his country in the next few months? Or should i wait till the case number is assigned?
