Help regarding documents to bring to AOS interview this November

Hi Everyone!

I'm kinda confused regarding what I need to bring to our interview for our AOS in about a month for a 2 year Green Card. I've been reading through past posts but I'm still lost.

we do have a copy of everything that we sent in for our AOS application back in August.

what else do I need to bring just in case they ask for evidence of a bona fide marriage?

We have wedding photos, and utility bills with both our names on them.

My husband (beneficiary) does not have a U.S. issued ID yet, so my bank wouldn't let me add him to my checking account. I do own a house, so I'm not sure if they will allow for me to add him to the mortgage or deed of the house even though he doesn't have his U.S. ID yet.

Please share your experiences? Thanks so much and have a great weekend! :D

Bring the items mentioned on the interview letter and I would recommend the original marriage certificate and a copy. The only thing the IO asked for was to see the original marriage certificate and kept another copy. Our interview consisted of answering the questions on the application form like, "What is your name?" "What is your Mother's name? "What is your SSN?" (As my wife had one) "Where were you borned?" "Date of birth?" Then all the "Have you ever.....?" As she asked these questions she checked the corresponding line on the application with a red pen. They know that you have not been together for a very long time and have very little co-mingling of assests. It is at the ROC that you will need more evidence of co-mingling.

Good luck,

Dave

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.
