If the I-485 application is sent to the street address, e.g. Lewisville, TX 75067, will the application be directly accepted/processed by the service center? Will it be forwarded to the lockbox (the contractor) for scanning?

I ask this question because the General Tips on Assembling suggested "The use of tabs assist in locating items listed as attachments. The tabs should be placed on the bottom and not the side for ease in filing.". Are the tips still useful for submissions through the lockbox?

I am considering adding the tabs. However, if the lockbox facility uses automatic document feeder to hold the documents, the tabs may cause problems when the documents are being scanned. They may remove the tabs before scanning. Here are lockbox filing tips (http://www.uscis.gov/lockboxtips).

I understand that we need to use Fedex or UPS in order to send the packet to the street address. Will the packet be accepted (not necessarily processed) more quickly if the street address is used?

Thanks!
