Dear All,

We just got married first of Oct and my husband is in process for I-129F.

My current last name has my father's name and it is stated on my passport however, I've just realized that my name stated on Birth Certificate there was no my father's name stated there. And also there has been a typo error of my father's name stated on our book of marriage they missed his middle name and his first name has made it in short lets say from Junior to be JR.

Can anyone please help to advise would there be a problem for us in filing the petition?

or should i change my birth certificate name to put my dad's name and legalized ?

Should i make a revision of my father's name which stated on our marriage book?

Thank you all in advance for your help..

Hi, I suggest you correct both documents, before USCIS finds out the errors. Because USCIS might not find the error but for the next step with NVC, they will probably find. It will take time but it's for your own good. All documents must be clear and have same details. They won't hear any excuses.
